May 14, 2021: Mt. Lebanon Recreation Department will follow current CDC and state guidelines, including masking. Unvaccinated people must wear masks indoors, and they must also wear them outdoors unless 6 feet of distance can be maintained from those outside of their household. Fully vaccinated individuals do not have to wear masks indoors or outdoors. Social distancing and frequent handwashing are encouraged. In general, protect yourself and others. The Recreation Department maintains a total of 15 Har-Tru tennis courts at the Tressel Tennis Center located on Cedar Boulevard. The tennis center is open Sunday-Thursday from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. from approximately May 1 - September 30.
The tennis center is operated by Mt. Lebanon Indoor Tennis from October through April. Indoor court hours of operation are 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Tennis lessons for children and adults are taught by the recreation staff and head tennis pro
Hank Hughes (firstname.lastname@example.org), throughout the year. Private lessons are available for groups, or individuals. The tennis center also has a pro shop for the sale of rackets and accessories and racket restringing.
Tournament & League Play
Tournaments and leagues are limited during the pandemic. Please contact the tennis center for more details.
Other Municipal CourtsMunicipal courts are also located at Williamsburg Park off Sleepy Hollow Road and Meadowcroft Park on North Meadowcroft Avenue. There is no charge for use of these courts.
