Swim Center

Located in the Recreation Center complex just off Cedar Boulevard in Mt. Lebanon Park, Mt. Lebanon’s 50-meter outdoor Swim Center offers lap swimming and recreational swimming for people of all ages. The swim center was completely renovated in 2014 with a new bathhouse, family changing rooms, pool heater, zero depth leisure pool, double slide tower, spray features, 50-meter lap lanes, poolside rock climbing wall and a snack bar.

As our lifeguard staff return to school, we are able to offer the following schedule:

* Children two years and younger as of January 1 each year do not require a membership or paid admission. They are admitted free when accompanied by a paid adult.

Rainouts/Closures/Refunds

There will be no refund on paid admissions for weather-related closings. Rain checks will be available with the pool cashier for paid admissions lasting less than 2 hours due to inclement weather. In the event of an electrical storm, the pool will close, and remain closed for 30 minutes after the last instance of thunder or lightning. Patrons should seek shelter in their vehicles. Children without a parent present, should be picked up as soon as possible in the event of thunder or lightning.

Purchasing Swim Center Memberships/Season Passes

Swim Center memberships/season passes are available to purchase online April 4 – May 15, 2023. Please follow the instructions and upload a photo for each individual on the membership, a driver’s license for each adult, and proof of residency (such as a utility bill) if you are a resident and your driver’s license does not reflect your current address.

Memberships may be purchased in person at the recreation center beginning April 24, 2023. In-person membership purchases require all family members to be present, a driver’s license for each adult, and proof of residency (such as a utility bill) if you are a resident and your driver’s license does not reflect your current address. If you have uploaded valid photos and other required documents to your account in advance, then those individuals would not need to be present.

We cannot sell a membership unless all documentation has been provided. Please review Membership Requirements before you visit the recreation center to purchase your membership.

If you need to purchase a pass for a family of more than 6 members, you must purchase your membership in person.
All pass holders must have a photo (uploaded or taken in person) for their pool pass, prior to coming to the pool. No mail or phone-in applications will be accepted.

Membership Requirements

  1. Memberships are non-refundable and non-transferable.
  2. Read all rules before purchasing.
  3. A Driver’s License or State ID is required for each adult on the membership.
  4. Other documents such as a current utility bill may be required to establish residency. For example, if your driver’s license does not reflect your current address.
  5. Children may need a school ID or birth certificate depending on the situation.
  6. A resident child’s pass will require ID from a parent, and proof of residency.
  7. A family pool pass may consist of a maximum of 2 adults, and any legally dependent children. All must live in the same household.
  8. All members will need to have a new photo when a membership is purchased. New photos are required each year.
  9. During purchase of a membership online, you must upload photos of each person on the membership.
  10. All other documentation should be uploaded to your account prior to purchase of the membership. Memberships are not valid until all documentation has been provided and the membership is approved.

Operating Days

Mt. Lebanon Swim Center is open from: May 27-August 27, weather permitting.
(Please refer to the above Pool End of Season Hours listed at the top of the page.) Additional hours will be added after August 27, including Labor Day weekend, if possible.

Swim Center Rental

Details: 2-hour private pool party includes use of slides and lifeguards, Friday, Saturday or Sunday ONLY through August 6. 7:15 to 9:15 p.m.

Private Rental Rules

  1. Always follow the lifeguards’ instruction.
  2. Regular pool rules always apply; exceptions must be cleared through the Recreation Center Manager or Pool Supervisor.
  3. Toys, other equipment, etc. may not be brought into the pool area without the consent of the pool manager.
  4. No smoking or alcoholic beverages. This includes all areas inside the bath house & pool area.
  5. Food and drinks are restricted to the snack bar area. Popcorn is prohibited.
  6. No glass containers may be brought within the pool area.
  7. Only properly fitting U.S. Coast Guard approved floatation devices are permitted. Any child wearing a floatation device must be accompanied in the water by an adult who is within arm’s reach of the child..
  8. All posted water slide, Aqua Climb, and diving board safety regulations will apply.
  9. Bath houses are for changing. Parties, games, etc., are not permitted. Valuables should be locked in bath house lockers. The Swim Center is not responsible for stolen articles that are left unattended.
  10. Radios, stereo, etc., must have volume turned down to Swim Center’s specifications. All sound will be turned off at 9:30p.m.
  11. Radios, stereos, etc., are not permitted to be played in the bath houses.
  12. Chewing gum is prohibited in all areas of the facility.
  13. Proper swimming attire must be worn. Rivets/zippers/buttons are not permitted on slides.
  14. Leak-proof swim diapers are required for children who are not toilet trained.
  15. Persons with infections or diseases that may be transmitted by the pool water are prohibited (28 Pa. Code 18.53).
  16. Bicycles are not permitted in the pool bath house or on the deck area.
  17. No pets or animals (except service animals for persons with disabilities).
  18. Swimmers cannot leave and reenter the pool area during the pool party.
  19. Motorized vehicles may not be parked on sidewalk except for deliveries of special equipment. Delivery vehicles must be parked in lot during rental.
  20. Cancellations must be made 72 hours in advance. Cancellations due to inclement weather may be made up until the rental time by either the renter or the swim center.
  21. The renter must remove all debris from the pool area at the conclusion of the rental time.
  22. Renter is responsible for restoration of any vandalism that may occur to the Swim Center during the renter’s time.
  23. Violations may result in the early termination of the rental.
  24. Management reserves the right to amend the above rules or implement new rules or policies as deemed necessary.
