Description
The program is designed to accommodate the serious skater. Program benefits include: progressing to your fullest potential, developing skills, improving conditioning, and preparing for testing. Main ice session size is limited to 10 skaters of mixed skating levels. Open enrollment is available, provided space is available. Sanctioned by the USFS. Test sessions sponsored by the Skating Club of Mt. Lebanon. All skaters must register online and be pre-registered.
Who
Figure Skaters:
To be eligible, figure skaters must be receiving private lessons from a qualified professional with an approved contract. Skater must have passed U.S.F.S. Basic #3 or equivalent skills.
Hockey students: Hockey lessons are available only to Mt. Lebanon Recreation Hockey Staff Members and their students.

Mondays-Fridays
June 12 - August 18, 2023
All sessions are in 30 minute intervals.

Our classes are taught by P.S.A. skating professionals and feature a progressive skating system allowing each student the opportunity to advance individually when skating levels have been mastered. Evaluations are designed for any preschool or kindergarten child who has never taken lessons at the Mt. Lebanon Ice Center. They help to determine both readiness and class placement. Upon completion of the evaluation, it is recommendation that you register for classes with the Ice Center Staff member. Registration for an evaluation appointment may be done in person or by phone. Contact the Ice Center at (412) 561-4363 for an appointment and additional evaluation times.
Things to Remember
Please cover arms and legs, skaters should wear thin, smooth socks that will come higher than top of the skates. Knit hit or helmet. Gloves and/or mittens.
