Q: How can I register for recreation programs?
A: You can register for programs in person at the recreation center or online at: https://mtlrec.activityreg.com/ClientPage_t2.wcs
Q: What facilities make up the Recreation Department?
A: The Recreation Department includes the recreation center (ice rink, community center and swimming pool), the tennis center and the golf course.
Q: Does the Recreation Department maintain the parks?
A: No, the Recreation Department schedules various activities in the parks, including fields and pavilions, but the parks are maintained by the Public Works Department.
Q: Do I need to have background clearances to work or volunteer for the Recreation Department?

Q: Do you have to be a resident to participate in recreation programs?
A: No, everyone is welcome in all but a few resident-only programs.
Q: When do you offer public ice skating sessions?

Q: Do you sell discounted amusement park tickets?
A: Recreation sells discounted tickets for the Pittsburgh Zoo year round, and Kennywood, Idelwild and Sandcastle from May through September. For more information click here: http://www.mtlebanon.org/1920/Amusement-Park-Discounted-Tickets
Q: Does the Recreation Department accept credit cards?
A: Yes, the department accepts MasterCard and Visa. We also accept cash and checks.
