Overview

The Municipality of Mt. Lebanon recruits candidates for employment in a wide variety of full-time, part-time and seasonal jobs.

Vacancy Postings

Vacancies are advertised in local newspapers such as The Almanac and Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, depending on the position to be filled, and complete job descriptions are posted under the Job Opportunities button at left. Ads may also be placed in professional journals and other newspapers as needed.

Occasionally, competition for promotional opportunities is limited to members of the municipal workforce, therefore, these opportunities are not advertised to the general public.

Application Procedures

Resumes and applications for employment are only accepted for positions which are currently vacant. Applications will not be accepted after the due date posted or advertised.

Application forms are available at the municipal building customer service center or online.
