For more information about community safety, attend a Community Preparedness Event on Tuesday, April 24 at 7 p.m. in the public safety center, 555 Washington Road. On the agenda is a presentation from the FBI on behavioral traits to look for in an individual that may cause us harm, an introduction by MLPD to the ALICE Active Shooter Response Protocols and Situational Awareness, and the "Stop the Bleed" program presented by Medical Rescue Team South. The presentation is free and open to the public.
