Junior Tennis Clinics
August 4, 2021: Effective Friday, August 6, Mt. Lebanon will follow CDC guidance by requiring masks for everyone inside all municipal facilities. Masks are not required for anyone outdoors. Social distancing and frequent handwashing are encouraged. In general, protect yourself and others. Don’t attend programs if you feel sick or are otherwise at risk. These guidelines are subject to change.

Players should bring a tennis racquet and wear tennis shoes. Prior approval is required before advancing to next level.
Beginner: Intended for the inexperienced player, fun oriented tennis. Eye/hand coordination drills, some running, playing
from the service line. Moving from beginners to advanced beginners, must have pro staff approval. 5 & 6 year olds must be in kindergarten for the 2021-2022 school year.
Advanced Beginner/Intermediate: Year or two of experience. Starting to hit from and serve from the baseline. Can sustain a few hit
rallies. SUPER FUN!
Intermediate: Fairly experienced player. Can serve consistently. Starting to add spin and placement. Fun and up-tempo,
lots of running.
Tournament Training: Has defined strokes and can implement strategy. Has consistent serve. Can play comfortably at the net. This level player could play a local tennis tournament. Player is usually mature, very experienced. Up-tempo, fun, aerobic type of clinic.
