Flower plantings

Your Group / Organization Can Help Beautify Mt. Lebanon
Would your group or organization be willing to help Mt. Lebanon maintain its attractive landscape by planting and maintaining one of the community’s public flower beds?

The colorful, well-maintained flower beds that dot the community have for many years enhanced the charming ambiance that makes people want to live in Mt. Lebanon. Because of financial constraints the municipal budget provides only enough funding to plant and maintain the most visible flower beds. Therefore, many plots that residents like to see in bloom are not planted.

You Can Help
Your organization can help sustain the planting program—purchasing and planting flowers, cultivating the soil, mulching, weeding, fertilizing and watering. The public works department can help with picking up weeds after they have been removed by volunteers (and placed in paper leaf bags) and by delivering mulch to the beds. In addition to gratitude from your fellow citizens, Mt. Lebanon would provide you with public recognition, such as a sign on the plot and mention in mtl magazine.
